Assistant Girls Football Coach needed,Play it Forward Zambia (PFZ) is seeking an individual to join our team of dedicated coaches in Livingstone as an Assistant Girl’s Football Coach. You will provide support within a coaching team tasked with nurturing and developing players within the girl’s development pathway.

We engage over 1,500 young people every year in a wide range of programmes from health education & HIV testing to literacy, coding, mentoring and support towards higher education and employment. Our support on and off the pitch, ensures that young people emerge from our programmes with new skills to succeed in school, the workforce and in life.

Reports to: Women’s Head Coach
Essential skills and experience
- Must hold at least a FAZ ‘E’ or CAF ‘C’ Licence.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in football coaching.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and basic first aid.
- Highly motivated, reliable, and proactive with a good understanding of the sport and their own scope of practice.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to liaise with players and coaches.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Deliver football coaching sessions appropriate to the age & ability of the players.
- Support the development plans for individual players, based on their different needs.
- Liaise with other age group coaches around best practice.
- Store and maintain the kit and equipment you are given as part of your role.
- To ensure the safety of participants, volunteers and staff as a priority.
- To be responsible for reporting all safeguarding issues when notified via the correct mechanisms.
