Intellectual Property Lawyer Responsibilities:
Intellectual Property Lawyer needed, Provide legal advice on intellectual property (IP) matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related contracts, licenses, and agreements.
Conduct IP due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
Represent clients in IP litigation and disputes, including preparing and filing legal documents.
Manage and protect clients’ IP portfolios by overseeing registration, maintenance, and enforcement of IP rights.
Stay current on IP laws and regulations and advise clients on compliance and strategic planning.
Collaborate with clients to develop and implement IP strategies that align with their business goals.
Conduct IP audits to identify and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in intellectual property law.
Strong knowledge of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret laws.
Experience in IP litigation and dispute resolution.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
